For my academic success I am going to study for test more and turn in my papers on time. I also need to get make up work in after I am absent. I was absent alot the first semester which I am going to try to not do the second semester because that will help my grades tremendously.

My New Years acedemic resolution would be to study alot harder for my tests and quizzes. I could use my SSR time to study and prepare for all my tests, so I could come home not having to worry about my grades, and having a stress-free year of school.

My new year's resolution is to make a A plus in this class. It's a pre-AP class and I will be so proud of myself if I achieved this goal. English is my worst subject so it will be a very big deal for me.

For my academic success I'm probably going to do my homework, like all of it. And also my goal is to get at least a c+ in all my classes. I need to study more too so ill definitely do that. Finally I'm going to do my work when it gets assigned and not do it five minutes before class.

My New Years Revolution is to be more disciplined when it comes to getting my school work as well as homework done. Where as this semester my focus drifted a little bit to much to extra curricular activities and things that are not as important. I plan on making my education my 3rd priority only behind God and My Family. Then having extra curricular and fun activites 4th or 5th.

Well, as Dave Ramsey says on his talk radio show every day is, "The difference between a dream and a goal is a plan!" (Yes, I listen to Dave Ramsey...) Anyways, in order for me to reach this dream of mine is to set a plan and reach my goals. My goal(s) are to maintain a 4.0 GPA and get back on track in my academics. I plan on doing this by studying harder, and putting more time into classes, for example, AP World History with Daniel Rogers. (Sorry for putting a different class.) I have a C+ in that class, which I definitely do not expect myself to achieve. Also, in Anatomy with Robert Ladeur (again, sorry.), I have a borderline B, and I want to get A's in both of those classes. And just putting more time and effort will help me raise my grade, because it would be really sad for my mother and father to see me 'fall off the cliff', as he always says. They put so much effort into pushing me that I cannot let them down.

My academic success New Year's resolution is to be able to get into the duel credit program. I want to take the math and english classes next year. I want to be able to pass and get into more programs the second semester for next year. I have worked so hard as a Freshman and Sophomore and I am going to step it up next year and study more to get the grades I really deserve. I want scholarships for college and Keys money. I plan to take the ACT at least 2 times next year and keep raising my score. My goal is a 27! I do not want to disapoint my mom in anything and I know my education means a lot to her. I want to help contribute to college funds as much as I can and I know working harder and harder will get me there.

My new's resolution for academic success is to try to do more work than I have been doing in this class. I'm always busy with basketball and most of the time I'm too tired to do my homework. (bad excuse I'm sure, but its true) I really don't like reading at all, I just don't have the attention span for it, but I'm going to try my best to read whatever I'm assigned.

My New Years resolution for 2012 is not to simply do my school work, but to understand it. Learning is not only about memorizing the correct answers; it's about knowing why and how, and being able to recall this information at a later time. I will work harder to understand and retain the knowledge by studying more in advance and putting more effort into really learning the material.

I normally never make a New Years resolution, but if I have to make one it would not to let my grades define me. I constantly work myself to dead in order to get a good grade. And I honestly think if I keep exerting myself I will just collapse. I am still going to try my best but not get up at 4 o'clock every morning to finish my work.

My New Years academic resolution is to prioritize all my work. So far this semester I've procrastinated through all the things I had to do leaving it for last minute; not that I don't do a good job, but I'd like to have more time to organize my information, or read without hurry to be able to understand the information being said. Hopefully being able to prioritize and manage my time will be what I will do next semester.

there are many things I can change this new years that can promote academic success.None however would make a bigger improvement in my grades then upgrading my study time. Currently I study at a rate that is minimum at best, and this causes procrastination and this causes stress. I believe I can set aside some time to study and do homework. Also my awakeness during school would greatly improve. This is my New Years Resolution.

My academic New Year goal is to work towards being able to read and comprehend better and more swiftly. Achieving this will help me in tests within all subjects and improve my literacy overall. Focus and determination are two qualities that I believe will bring me there. Sometimes, when I write or read or type like I am doing now, I might drift off into another land, and lose grasp of my keen, asian-like focus. Mental training is more complex than that of physics. But I CAN master this, this is no mountain I can't climb. I have the potential, I drink it, I bathe in it. My name might sound like the seeds in the pond, or a saxophone mouthpiece, but the phonetics speak. It just takes will, that's the force to push improvment. Yes metaphors these days seem so cliché, but things that are cliché wouldn't be if they weren't somewhat true. So to you Mrs. Hendrix, your new vocab word of the day is "deciso" (DAY-chee-soh, adj.)- with determination. Origin Italian from Latin. So now you know that I did not misspell my name. I am Tony Read Reed.
